URGENT - I have lost my DSBrowser™ key / My Double Level Authentication USB device

If you lose the DSBrowser™ USB device on which the double authentication is activated:

- Contact our customer support at: support@dsbrowser.com

- Indicate your license number as well as, surname, first name, telephone number and date of birth.

- Customer support will ask you your secret question. If you reply correctly, customer support will deactivate the double authentication. No one will be able to steal your identity.

You can then ask for a new username and password in order to regain access to DSBrowser™.

Sommaire

Understand DSBrowser™ - Right to anonymity

When you walk in the street, you do not have to show your identity, say what you are doing, what you want, where you live and you do not have to look at every advertisement on your journey.

When you pay with a credit card in a shop, you do not have to describe your tastes to the sales person. The right to anonymity on the web allows you to browse freely and avoid any person trying to use your identity or related information. DSBrowser™ allows you to be anonymous on the web. You can:

- Download software you have purchased without giving out information about yourself.

- Watch a video without saying who you are.

- Use any application online without letting the web site gather your behavioral information.

- Decide which advertising can appear on your screen.

The respect of the right to anonymity stops at the border of Blacknet / Deep Web, from there on, content may be illegal. DS Browser™ can relay any information to the authorities that they require in a judicial case.

Understand DSBrowser™ - DSBrowser™ navigator

DSBrowser™, spearhead of our offer, has been created to block the approach of any undesirable software. The DSBrowser™ navigator receives all the latest updates directly and exclusively from the DSBrowser™ servers. It is the only entry point to your DSBrowser™ Cloud. Between your navigator and your Cloud, between your navigator and our servers, every exchange of data takes place in a secured tunnel. You can browse in a protected bubble and do it in a “look and feel” which is unique, elegant and relaxing. It’s the end of all characterless browsers.

Free internet browsers

Internet browsers are the weak link when it comes to confidentiality on the web. Did you know that? The value of a search for the main search engines is the gathering of qualified information on the user, their tastes, their connections etc. It is through the browser that this gathering is done, without you knowing. The enemy is already within!

If it’s free on the internet

Free browsers, free search engines, free applications … the “free” approach is everywhere on the internet. Free of charge is presented as being beneficial to the user, but it would be naïve to think that so many advantages meant nothing in return! Free does not rhyme with selflessness. The systematic gathering of browser data, when it is not input data, allows, after selling to e-commerce agents, behaviorial targeting and personalised marketing. It is the bartering of your personal data, which is an invasion of your private life.

Browser infection

Abnormally long times to download pages, multiple openings of websites which have nothing to do with your search, useless toolbars and plug-ins, inconvenient popping-up of advertising… the diagnosis is simple: your internet browser is “infected”! Anti-virus software, blogs and forums offer you different ways to clean your browser… we prefer to go to the root of the problem. The DSBrowser™ navigator has been created to block any approaches from undesirable software. And we have no commercial reasons to accept them as we refuse to sell on any of your browsing data. Do the test on an “infected” computer where browsing is a nightmare: plug in your DSBrowser™ USB device (key, hard drive or flash memory) and connect: you will rediscover normal browsing speeds and will be rid of most of the unwanted things that spoil your life. There’s no need to buy a new computer to go on the web.

Understand DSBrowser™ - Anonymous and Invisible

Secure Tunnel

The communication between your DSBrowser™ and your Cloud on our servers is encrypted with the TLS v1.2 Protocole and a RSA AES 256 Bit algorithm integrated into the DSBrowser™. The security certificate is validated at every launching of the browser. All the data exchanged with your Cloud space will, as a result, be inaccessible and undecipherable by a third party.

While you browse, you can choose to hide your IP address, as it will be one of our servers’ IP addresses which appears, thus preventing any of the sites you visit from retracing the link to your computer, and so identify the websites you have visited during your browsing session.

Secure webmail

A webmail allows you gain access to your messaging service from an internet browsing service, without having to go through the existing software on your computer (Gmail messaging, Hotmail, Yahoo mail etc…). With our integrated system, your webmail will travel exclusively through the secure tunnel between your DSBrowser™ navigator and our servers.

Thanks to VPN, your data is encrypted.

Thanks to VPN, datas are encrypted.

Secure and anonymous streaming

No matter which site you visit to stream your videos, the confidentiality of your browsing is systematically assured by using the secured tunnel of your DSBrowser™ and our servers. You can increase it by activating the anonymous browser options: IP address masking, browser masking, secure erase of your data.

Thanks to VPN, your data is encrypted.

Thanks to VPN, datas are encrypted.

VPN – Virtual Private Network

The DSBrowser™ VPN puts in place an encrypted tunnel for every internet connection – and any internet-based software (surf, email, VoIP, P2P, games…) - from your computer, so that all data exchange while using DSBrowser VPN™ is anonymous and undecipherable. The tunnel includes the authentication with its DSBrowser™ certificate and use of the TLS v1.2 and AES 256 algorithm for an encryption of data.

Understand DSBrowser™ - Browser masking

To take your anonymity further, you can choose to hide your DSBrowser™ identity from any of the websites you visit. However, certain sites only work with specific browsers and will refuse the connection when you approach them as a DSBrowser™ or an unknown browser. To resolve this problem without losing your anonymity, DSBrowser™ allows you to browse using the identity of another browser, which you can choose from a list of some of the leading browsers.

Understand DSBrowser™ - Blocking advertising

When you activate the advertising blocking option, tens of thousands of links will be analysed before displaying the desired web page in order to delete as many advertising as possible. This will result in a much more relaxed visual experience.

Our servers are configured to treat a massive number of actions. The blocking lists are updated daily.

Understand DSBrowser™ - Secure erase

What happens if you do not delete the live memory from your computer. The content of live memory is not deleted even if the memory component is taken from the motherboard, especially at low temperature. The fraudulent recovery of your data in the live memory, especially that of USB devices (key, hard drive, flash memory), is possible even when the user session is locked or when the computer is in sleep mode.

When you carry out any action with DSBrowser™ , you will be able to securely erase all your browsing data in your live memory as soon as you finish your session. Your browsing window will close and all the displayed data will disappear, for example, as soon as you disconnect the USB device (USB key, external hard drive, flash memory). You can activate the secure erase on your Dashboard tab. You can also carry out immediate secure erase while you browse in the Surf tab.

Understand DSBrowser™ - Connection logs

When you browse through the internet each click on a link gives an order to the server of the website you are visiting. These orders are sent to a connection journal also called a “log file”. When you browse anonymously using DSBrowser™, the logs resulting from your clicks are not sent to the websites you are visiting, but to the DSBrowser™ servers, which will manage the logs as they arrive. The requests transmitted from the DSBrowser™ servers to the sites you have visited will prevent them from identifying you directly.

Understand DSBrowser™ - Double Level Authentication

With the AGILE package, your USB key (or any other USB device) becomes a DSBrowser™ key with a Double Level Authentication.

This method of authentication when connecting has been created from the standards imposed by the banking sector.

In order to connect with DSBrowser™ AGILE, 4 factors are required:

This method of authentication when connecting has been created from the standards imposed by the banking sector.

In order to connect with DSBrowser™ AGILE, 4 factors are required:

- Key in your login

- Then your password

- DSBrowser™ identifies your user license

- Then reads the internal code of your USB device, every 500 milliseconds throughout your browsing session.

The connection is only possible when these 4 factors concur and correspond to your personal user data.

Take out your USB device, the browsing window disappears instantly leaving no visible trace on the computer screen.

Understand DSBrowser™ - The DSBrowser™ Intelligent Cloud

DSBrowser™ has developed an expert technology for the transfer of data from a computer to the Cloud. Every transfer is encrypted in order to guarantee secure exchanges. The packets are controlled and validated before integration.

Synchronisation is indispensable when you share the access to certain documents in your Cloud with other DSBrowser™ users (e.g. in a company or family). Each time a document which is stored on the DSBrowser ™ Cloud is modified by a user, it is automatically updated for each user with access authorisation. Each modification is time-stamped.

DSBrowser™ twice icon

With one single DSBrowser™ license, several USB devices on which DSBrowser™ is already installed can, from different computers, gain access, one after the other to the Cloud of that license with the username and password of that license. And so, for example, with one license, each member of the family can have their own DSBrowser USB key and have access one after the other, from different computers to the family Cloud.

This also means:

- It is not possible to surf on the web with several USB devices which are under the same license.

- Two DSBrowser™ activated under the same license cannot have access simultaneously to the same Cloud. - Only one session at a time is possible with a unique license number.

Using DSBrowser™ - Surf tab – Browse clever - The website you want to visit is accessible but only a white or incomplete page appears on your screen

Some websites don’t accept the masking of browsers and will not display their content (ex. Canal +).

For a site that you know well you could deactivate the option “Hiding browser”. If you still don’t have access to the site, activate “Hiding browser” and choose the name of another browser in the dropdown menu “Mask as”.

Difficult access to certain sites could also arise from advertising blocking, which prove to be too restrictive. It might be better to deactivate the option “Ad blocking”.

In any event, if a website does not display correctly or does not allow you access to its content, you are better off changing the combination of browser options until you find the one that allows you access to the site you are visiting. To activate/deactivate the IP masking, browser masking and advertising blocking options, go to the “My Navigation” box in the Dashboard tab.
